In 2020, mortgage rates reached all-time lows 16 times, and so far, they’re continuing to hover in low territory this year. “Home-prices are rising faster than rents and wages in a majority of the country. Yet, home ownership is still more affordable, as amazingly low mortgage rates that dropped below 3 percent are helping to keep the cost of rising home prices in check.

The Boulders At Truckee was buzzing with sales in 2020 as WFH (work from home) options became the new norm due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The Truckee area saw an influx of people now able to WFH and live out their dream of life in a mountain town. The Y-O-Y numbers show prices at The Boulders continuing to rise at a fast pace, fueled by strong demand and low inventory.

From January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020 there were 28 sales for a total of $15,667,892 in sales volume. This is up from the same period in the previous year (2019) which saw only 10 sales for a total sales volume of $5,175,000. 12 of the 28 sales in 2020 were brand new construction, and that demand continues as we await the final two 4-plexes to be built starting Spring of 2021 to the west of the pool and recreation center. The reservation list is brimming with enthusiastic Buyers.

As of today, January 26, 2021 there are no resales currently available for sale at The Boulders at Truckee. Demand continues to remain exceptionally strong with a steady flow of Buyer inquiries.
